Paul started his career in retail where he completed his studies in retail management. He later took the decision to study Theology where he attained a DipTh (Cum Laude) majoring in Developmental Psychology. He currently sits on the board of numerous organisations where he plays a leadership and advisory role.

In 2015 Paul set up an organisation called One Million Strong, an NPC that focuses on raising the next generation of leaders. Currently, 1MS is working in schools throughout South Africa as well as Kenya, Malawi, Honduras, USA and Ethiopia. More than fifty thousand young people and over 2 000 teachers have attended the 1MS training programmes. Next year 1MS will be establishing their first operation in Europe.

Paul established Kairos Connect (Pty) Ltd, a niche market advisory and turn-around practice, in 1996. For nearly 25 years Paul has travelled to five continents and nearly 30 countries as an advisor, speaker and consultant. He has authored numerous training manuals reaching over 500 000 people. He has also recently just published his first book, “Beautiful Soul
